October 15-19, 2012

This week we will read the short story of Don Quixote as well as look at some geography terms.

Students should know how to say and write numbers 0-39 in Spanish.

They should also know how to introduce themselves and others.

Other key points are:

Singular pronouns: YO, Tú, él,  and ella

The verb SER and singular conjugations for YO, Tú, él,  and ella

Definite articles el/la and indefinite articles un/una.

They should also review countries and capitals of the Spanish-speaking world. The ones they will need to know for the test are: México D.F./México, Caracas/Venezuela, Bogotá/Colombia, Santiago/Chile, San Juan/Puerto Rico, Habana/Cuba

We will test over the first unit this week, and speaking presentations about themselves will be due at the end of this week or the beginning of next week.
