You will create a photo and speaking collage with VOICETHREAD in which you will describe:
Required topics/pictures
Present tense
Preterite tense
1.       A personal introduction of each member of your team  and a 2-3 sentence description


2.       Tell how you arrive at school each day.

Tell how you went to school today.
3.       Describe 4 activities you do in school each day.


4.       Tell 2 activities one of your teachers does each day.


5.       Tell 2 things you do after school and use the phrase “después de las clases” in your description.

Tell something you did last weekend and something you did yesterday.
6.       Tell about a party you or someone else gives. Tell who is at the party (estar) and tell 4 things you do at the party.

Now, make a new slide reflecting that the party is over and tell 3 things you did at the party.
7.       Unit 5—Foods—tell what each of you eats for breakfast.

Tell what you ate for breakfast this morning.
8.       Tell what each of you eats for lunch.


9.       Tell what each of you eats for dinner.


10.   Show a restaurant scene and have a conversation with a waiter/waitress. Include ordering and activities after the meal.


11.   Show your menu and tell about a plate for each meal. Your menu will be scored for a writing standard.

FASHION SHOWS DUE ON FEB. 18--NEW VOCAB. ON QUIZLET

Make sure you are ready to present your fashion show on Tuesday, February 18.

All areas must be covered. (theme, welcome, 5 items of clothing with color, pattern or fabric description, cost, and season). Make it interesting! You get points toward your 20% just for being ready. The standard is graded on eye contact, comprehension, gestures and visuals and vocabulary.

¡Próspero Año Nuevo!

Happy New Year and get ready to set your shoes out for Día de los Reyes Magos (el 6 de enero)! I hope you have been good this year so the Wise Men will be able to leave you some presents. Also, don't forget to leave some hay for their camels!

On Monday you will have a quiz over colors and clothing items. The colors you need to know are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, white, black, brown, gray, pink and the question, "What color is this?" (¿Qué color es?)
